I've always known what I wanted to do ever since I was a little girl -- to be a writer.

I was such an avid reader (and still am) that I was (and still am) completely consumed by words. All kinds, in fact, I have several vocabulary lists that I continue to add onto daily, as I am always fascinated with learning, be it a new word, a skill or something that inspires me.

I remember writing in my diary and creative journal daily as a young girl. I would write all kinds of things, things that had happened to me that day, something that I found cool or interesting, an idea that I thought would be intriguing for others to want to know about.

I would even begin to write down story ideas that came to me in a dream. Nowadays, I attribute a lot of creative inspiration or "creative downloads" whenever I take a long hot and relaxing bath (read my blog post "22 self-care and self-love tips for moms (who also homeschool) here to learn more.

I never really knew where my love of writing and storytelling would lead me - I'm just thankful that I had the courage to answer the call.

One thing I know it true, is that I have a gift and sharing it within different creative outlets and mediums has been my focal point these past few years and I realized that as I have become more confident in my ability to show up and share more about my gifts and talents, I have been able to witness in real-time, the impact it has made on my daughter and her outlook on her creativity and how she's more excited and confident about her art.
